Anywhere Is A Parking Space
Those lines on the pavement mean nothing.
I get it. I understand. The drop off loop for parents is also a parking lot.
But I’d like to argue that you still need to pull into a parking space to be considered parked.
Do not stop your vehicle at the end of the droop off loop, put it in park, lock it, and go inside the school, thus blocking the parking lot exit.
Especially don’t do this when there is a parking space 20 feet away.
That you drove past!
And I overhear you state to your child that you know you are illegally parked.
This is worse than the number of cars parked in the handicapped spaces that don’t have handicap decals. They are at least in a parking spot…sometimes.
Well the thing is, people who illegally park and block the exits are not only letting themselves down, they're letting everyone else down... And they're also making it very likely someone will let their tyres down! Haha... 😎
